Hahaha~ How long has it even been since I've used livejournal? Silly me.
I don't have a lot to say, but I am far too pissed off to not say it. I can't rant at my parents because they'll get concerned about my thoughts of physical violence against other people my age.
Hey, I think what counts is the fact that you only thought about it, but didn't follow through. I guess I shouldn't have told my parents about the one time I did almost go for it and punch some annoying bitch in the face. Agh...I hate it when bratty teenagers actually have a voice that says they have an attitude problem. Feel like I want to smack them in the face any time they say anything.
Someday...someday...(though that day better be before I'm too old and it's illegal for me to be smacking around teenagers)

I just now realized how ignored my livejournal has become even though I've been signing on every day to check my friends page (= just anime communities).
So basically, now I'm just cleaning it up a bit. for example, I don't make videos any more and don't know when I will again so I deleted a couple of posts.
Yeah and I was also getting sick of the theme so I just changed to a Christmas one for the time being.
To warn anyone who does still have me on their Friend's List, I might end up just using my livejournal for personal stuff (ranting~) since all my anime stuff (which is really the only way I contribute to fandom online) is moved over to my blog. Maybe I'll update more regularly when I start getting one of my stories going with regular writing.
Of course most personal crap that I randomly think up just ends up on twitter, but whatever. If I feel the need to rant, but don't want the whole world to see it, it can just go here. Along with story updates (maybe). Well, anyway...just saying. Feel free to take me off friend lists if you want to.

FINALLY! This video is DONE!
The best thing about ShinKuro ending (aside from the wedding~!) is the fact that I got to finish this video after...five months. Five months.
Wow...this damn well better be my best MMV ever then.

A while ago I would have gone on about my feelings about the series and all of that here, but for that you can just head over to my blog. I did a post on chapter 47 and am planning two more posts for ShinKuro as well.
Instead I'll just go on about the video...the more technical side of things.

I thought I'd leave a reminder just in case people ignore that post at the top...I know some people who would do that. You know, just read specifically what they're looking for.
Episode 33's review can be found here on my new blog, Simplicity.

Well, I already announced it in my Shugo Chara! episode 32 review, but I'm announcing it here officially now that it's actually open. I've now created my own anime blog at WordPress.com, so from now on all of my episode reviews and random blurbs about anime will be there. It's called Simplicity (for reasons explained in the about section).
So if you'd like to continue reading my reviews, they'll be posted there from now on. Or really, starting with episode 33 of Shugo Chara! they'll be there. I'm going to review next week's episode of SA here like normal (but after that it's off to Simplicity). Heh, I want to start my reviews off with something EPIC! So that's why it's starting with that episode of Shugo Chara!...*giggle*

I hope most of you will continue to talk with me there since I have so much fun reading everyone's comments. I'll still be on livejournal of course, but I'm just shifting the journal back to sort of keeping track of all of the stuff I put up on the internet. Like my AMVs and stories and stuff. I'm also going to be updating a lot more now that it'll be an actual anime blog. I'll be commenting on more series and stuff.
And as for the reason I'm moving; well, wordpress.com is a lot better for an actual blog. I can keep track of things and I can save drafts of my posts and stuff. So there's an actual reason behind it just to let you all know.
Once again, I hope everyone will continue to read my posts there!

So I finally went ahead and got myself a NicoNico account because I'm tired of waiting for the torrents. So this entry is going to actually be earlier than it normally would be. Because I already watched the episode and finished the summary before the torrent went up (Right now it's just the summary though, I'll add in my thoughts when I can get screencaps).
Oh yeah, and as a quick note, I missed reviewing SA this week. Sorry, I was sick. And by now it just seems pointless reviewing it since the new episode will be around soon anyways. It's too bad since it was my favorite episode of SA so far. I really could have gotten into fangirl mode too.

This was a great episode, lots of Rima development but...Ah! Next week just can't come soon enough!
Random Edit: Hey! If you have a CR account, join me in this thread and overpower the haters with Rima love~! I'm going to spam them with cute images for every hateful comment I see. I've officially decided I don't care about spoiling the little noobtards with any Rima revelations because seriously...they're pissing me off. So pop in to spread the Rima love if you have time!

But yes. This episode is most definitely one of my favorites. What's with the anime being good all of a sudden? When I started my reviews I remember saying in my first entry or something that I wanted to make fun of an anime ruining a good manga as it goes by each week. They ruined that for me! Oh well, not like I can really complain. I'm just complimenting Satelight in my own stubborn way.
Ah also! Before I go any further! I finally decided to start up a real anime blog. Episode 33's review is going to be there next week. I could have done this review there as well, but I want to kick it off with something to really get excited about (meaning the ice cream scene~!).

Okay, I really just woke up (even though it's one PM here). Heh, I'm a master at getting sick.
But I feel the need to make journal entries when I see certain news on ANN and this is one of those occasions!
Shugo Chara! won Best Children's Manga at the 32nd Annual Kodansha Manga Awards! Celebrate with me!
Series like Fruits Basket and Honey and Clover have won the award before (but in a different category). So you know that these people know what they're talking about! So it isn't just the fans! Professionals also believe that Shugo Chara! is one of the best manga out there right now (and the best one that runs in a magazine like Nakayosi or Ribon).
Heh, now the next time some Narutard comes at you and tells you that Shugo Chara! is crap (ha, can you imagine? But it's really happened) shove this award in their face. Naruto never won this award! So...yeah!
Sorry, I'm hyper. It feels like it's been a bunch of Shugo Chara! stuff happening all together (Including some recent purchases I've made) so I'm really excited.
Oh, and also with this award, I'm betting that Shugo Chara! has a pretty good chance of the anime being licensed some day. I just hope they do it really soon after the series ends because if they wait too long they'll only release half the series (like Viz did for Full Moon). Hopefully ADV will pick it up, they tend to finish what they start.
Ah! But why am I talking about licensing! One final woo-hoo! In celebration for this award! Yeah!
Alright, but now I have to go do other stuff...

Well, I feel safe saying this is the latest that I've ever done an episode review. I watched Shugo Chara! on Saturday morning and I'm posting a summary and some thoughts on Monday afternoon. Sorry that it's so late.
I was away at my Aunt's house from Thursday to Saturday and of course, Sunday was Mother's Day so we all went out and stuff. But I don't think it matters too much. It's better for me to be late on a boring episode like this than for me to be late on an Amuto episode though, right? Of course!!!

Well, this episode was fun despite being full of Yaya. Rima, Eru, and Kairi, kept it entertaining for me. But I'm still as impatient as ever for episode 33.
Oh and before I forget. I made another animated gif because I plan to every week. This week it's...Eru peeking out of her egg. There wasn't anything that made me go, "OMG! CUTE!" but with the Rima-ness next week, it'll definitely be better! Yes...Rima-ness...looking forward to it.

So this episode follows chapter...20? I'm not sure if the number's right, but it follow the chapter where everyone goes over to Yaya's house to take care of her little brother. It sounds like filler, but because it's an episode that follows the manga, there was some plot developments added in there as well.
I can't say how closely it follows the manga because we are completely without translations for this chapter (because of that, I added more to summary than I did last week also). But a lot of images seem to be straight from the manga, so I'll go out on a limb and say it basically copies the manga and adds in a few things to fill up the time.
Now then! I'm doing this the same way I did last week because there wasn't much to fangirl about. But next week focuses on Rima-tan so you can bet my overly long review/summary with fangirl interjections will be back.
Oh before I go any further, the single for Kiss!Kiss!Kiss! is out. I love the full version of Minna Daisuki even more than the short version. It's so bouncy and wonderful! I love it! Heh, and of course every time it's at a certain point, visions of Amuto flow through my head.
Heh...I haven't even listened to Kiss!Kiss!Kiss! yet because I'm so completely obsessed with Minna Daisuki. I blame the wonderful Amuto-ness.
So anyone who hasn't listened to it yet. Go download it. Now.

OMG! Finally a connection with CCS! A freakin' awesome (though confusing) one! Yes!
Heh, a while ago I used to talk about TRC all the time in this journal until I declared it a coma series and decided to read it silently and ignore it until something interesting happened.
And something interesting has happened!
Finally, I'm anxiously awaiting the next chapter of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle. For a while I was into xxxHolic more with the super Kohane-chan cuteness, but now I'm back on the Tsubasa bus (lolwut?). Looking forward to chapter 190 with more SakuraxSyaoran-ness~!
P.S. (On a completely unreleated matter): My summary/review on Shugo Chara! is going to be late because I'm at my aunt's house. I watched the episode on Veoh though and it was good. There was some plot in the filler.
Oh and one more thing!

Wow...this episode of Special A has me feeling really...stunned I guess would be the word. I'm not sure if it's good or bad, I'm just...shocked.
SA came out really late again. Well, sort of late. It's about the right time for Zero Raws to release their version (which is the one I end up keeping for some AMV possibilities) but usually something else comes out first that I can use to watch and write up my review with. No such luck this time though. Not like I was looking forward to it too much. Considering what we all had to deal with last week, I doubt anyone was excited about this week. I hope the show didn't lose too many viewers, because this week really did better. In fact, I think they purposely made an effort to correct some things people have been complaining about all along.
The reason my episode review is late is simply because...I was busy working yesterday. Heh, and actually looking for a new job before they get too accustomed to me working at the grocery story (I might get a job at a movie theater).

Oh yeah, but before I start on the review, let me just say this right away. Yahiro shows up next week!
I skipped right to the preview before even watching the episode so I could find out if our misery would soon be over. The first thing that hit me was that the animation in the preview seemed weird, but I'll get all into that in a moment.
This week, I'm just giving my thoughts like I did with Shugo Chara! this week. I did a summary for Shugo Chara!, but it's unnecessary this time, because plenty of people write up summaries for Special A that are better than anything I'd whip up when I'm unmotivated. If someone really needs to know what happens in the episode, I can give them a link.
But let's go straight to the thoughts then!
Well, this week was much better. Not very inspiring to write up a big long summary or anything, but next week looks like it's going to be great. Everything in the preview seems to be from the manga. So we have a lot to look forward to (except, you know, awkward animation.

Heh, I'm late again. Sorry. But it's really not my fault. I fell asleep at two in the morning last night (pretty early for a weekend night for me) and woke up at ten PM. Don't ask how that happened. I have no idea. I get sick easily I guess. But now I'm feeling better~! I'm going shopping tomorrow (but I missed free comic day today...poo).
It's a little disappointing because I was expecting to get my review up early today. I snagged the torrent really early and I even watched it (well, skimmed through it) last night. Heh, I was even the first person to get it. See
? Well, originally it said 0 in both columns, but I refreshed it before taking the screencap...because...I don't know. I'm dumb. But I beat my previous record of like, 27 by a mile. But now I have nothing to aim for *sigh*. Maybe I'll aim for being number one again so I can get the image with the two "0"s just for the heck of it.

So, this episode was really boring, but I'll do things a little differently in my summary to make things more interesting for me. I'll probably do things like this often. Though, if a really incredibly boring episode comes along like episode 4 of Special A, expect even less than this.
I'm doing things a little differently today because of how absolutely boring this episode was. I'm doing a real summary first (I mean real, without my little interjections) and after that is all of my...interjections. You know, me making fun of the episode.
Anyone who comes to my journal purely for the summaries probably isn't interested in me saying, "This is so boring" or "*sigh*" every other line. Or really, I just want to get the boring stuff out of the way first. And when I do it the other way, I have to spend more time on it. And when the episode is this boring, I don't feel like writing up a long summary just so I can get to a few little points where I'm like, "Oh yeah, but this part was fun."
Yeah, this episode was boring, but I still have plenty to say about it. Surprisingly, not much of it is complaining. Like I said, this episode was boring, but it's not like it was bad. It followed something from the manga after all.

So this episode was boring, the next episode will be boring. The only thing good about these episodes is a little bit of funniness in each. Also, making fun of stuff is fun too. But next week really just looks boring, no Tadase cheer leading like this week, so not a lot to make fun of. Though, episode 33 seems to be the light at the end of the tunnel!

A while ago, when I was looking for raw scans of Shinshi Doumei Cross, I joined a Chinese yahoo group for the series (they didn't have what I wanted, but since they had other stuff, I decided to stay in the group).
So about...five minutes ago, I got an e-mail update from the group with new pictures. These ones (1, 2, 3). They look an awful lot like a new series, don't they? I got a little excited when that one-shot was announced, wondering if it was a new series, but since it wasn't listed as being in the main Ribon magazine, obviously my excitement was short-lived.

But this was enough to make me check over at the ShinKuro Forums and then at
ribon_wakuwaku And it's official. Shinshi Doumei Cross is going to end with chapter 47.
Uwah~! This has all just been a bunch of jumbled talking and nonsense...but! I'm really excited, sad, and just all around confused by this happening. There's still two more chapters, but really~! God! Now there just really has to be an anime adaptation! I'm going to look in ever possibly place for an announcement of an anime adaptation for the next fourteen months (one year after the manga ended is when I'd already stated I'd give up on the anime). So please! Someone make this incredibly wonderful manga into an anime! And I'm not talking to you Gonzo!
Edit 4/5/08: lol, way to be late on the news ANN.

Well, the SA raws were out late again this week. Not that it matters much. The episode really wasn't worth the wait. So boring.
I'm tired too. So I'm just go ahead and make this quick. There's no need to really summarize since tons of other people do. I usually only summarize to tie together my thoughts. But to be honest, I don't think much of this episode. It wasn't awful, but it wasn't good either.

So, this week was boring. Next week might be boring as well (No! Can you imagine? A boring SC! and SA episode, how awful!). I'm going to keep my expectations low...better chance of enjoying the episode if I don't expect much from it. Still, I do hope it will be better next week...meaning I hope they don't change random stuff.

There wasn't even a specific screencap I could use to show what the episode was like. So I just had Media Player Classic make me some thumbnails and I'm using those for my preview image.
*sigh* Honestly...I feel so bored. But I do this every week and I don't want to miss a week just because. If I wrote up an episode review for the excessively boring episode 19 of Shugo Chara! I can spare a few thoughts (at the very least) for this episode.

Ugh, sorry this journal entry is late again. I had the whole thing written up and it got deleted. After something like that, you just get so frustrated that to keep from breaking your computer monitor in half, you have to leave for a while and take a break.
It was really disappointing. I really liked how the first entry turned out. Even when I came back, I was really frustrated so I didn't do as much translating and just did more summarizing. I got about half of it restored, but not the good half. I got the boring half back...which might just be better since I definitely would not have wanted to summarize it a second time (boring).

Moving on. Yes, this image represents what the episode should have been about, but we all know better, don't we? Yes...there's something much more important. Or something that the episode will be more remembered for.
Hmm...but before I go on, I was narrowly saved from possibly spreading around incorrect spoilers. Translations for both chapter 17 and 18 (though not scanlations) came out recently. Isn't that good? No real test of my Japanese on a plot-relevant episode. As far as I can tell, most of it seems to be direct quoting from the manga. A few little add-ins, but all together they'd barely even make up four minutes I think.
That being said, I've caught the little "noobtards" on CR at it again. I'm not sure if the "half-spoiler" someone is posting is from my journal or from the recent chapter translations. I wonder if I should start saying in every entry that I suck at Japanese...oh wait...I already do. *sigh* noobtards (it's how I'll refer to them now since one or the other doesn't seem to be enough).
Oh, but this is boring. We need to bring in the spoiler~! Ah, I've been looking forward to this (obvious ALL CAPS spoiler beyond the cut).
Oh~! That was so much fun. I'm only looking forward to next week because I figure I'll get to make fun of stuff in my journal (the episode looks boring). But that's half the fun, isn't it?

You know...I'm really, really not the type to suggest manga to other people. It's not that I have no manga to suggest, but really...most of the manga I read already has a large fanbase...anyone who wants to read it, is pretty much already reading it.
I think once I suggested Skip Beat! to a friend who liked Tokyo Crazy Paradise, but that was obvious since they're both titles by the same manga-ka, Yoshiki Nakamura. Anyone would do that.
But for the first time, I've run into a relatively unknown manga and thought it was good. Good enough to suggest it to others. Usually, if something isn't well-known...it's for a reason. But after feeling incredibly bored recently, I decided to check out on of those titles on my, "Eh...maybe check it out" list (yes...that is what the list is called) and I found Kaichou wa Maid-sama! (what's with all of these manga having exclamation points, anyways?).

The title for anyone interested, translates to, "The President is a Maid...sama." And the most basic idea of the plot is...it's about a school president who works at a maid cafe. Of course, manga need more circumstances than just that to be able to carry on for multiple chapters (it's reached four volumes in Japan).
Kaichou wa Maid-sama! is being scanlated by Aku-Tenshi so you can pick it up here. Aku-Tenshi does such wonderful scanlations *sigh*. Or if you don't feel like downloading it, they have it over at One Manga too. It's only seven chapter so far, so especially if you're feeling bored, I think it's worth a look.

Okay...this feels like a really silly and unnecessary thing to say, because anyone I've ever talked to that reads my journal knows better.
I will now say that after wikipedia, CrunchyRoll is the number one place you cannot cite as a place where you got information from. It's just random twelve to twenty-four year olds posting whatever spoiler they happened to run into wherever they possibly can.
I just spend ten minutes correcting someone about their Shugo Chara! spoilers...which even if they had been correct, should not have been posted on the main page for the anime of Shugo Chara! for people following the fansubs.
(There are spoilers beyond the cut)
This doesn't accomplish anything...but I just wanted to tell anyone directed to my journal from CR (since I've now seen someone giving my journal as a link) don't trust what most people say. And be aware that no matter where you go...you run the risk of seeing spoilers (both true and false ones).

Muahahahahahaha! Finally! I got my hands on Special A! All has gone just as planned!
Actually, no it hasn't. I just feel some sort of strange evil joy because my download messed up my brother's game. He just came in to yell at me for doing a torrent without letting him know and made me shut it down. But too bad for him~! It finished like ten seconds before he came in! Muahaha!
Of course, it was his fault that the one day SA came out like...early (or on time, I haven't decided what I should label this as), I was unable to download it for hours. In fact...it was on Veoh (where I watched it initially) before I finally went, "Screw it" and started my download. But even though I got the anime last night I wasn't able to finish the summary until today...so it's not like it changed much. I guess I just get to put it up a couple of hours earlier maybe.

Ah~! I am happy to report that I enjoyed this week's episode much more than last week's. It had just about everything that makes Hikari and Kei's relationship so much fun to watch. Now all we need is Kei hitting on Hikari and we're all set. Come on Yahiro! Show up and set things into motion!
This week's episode is titled Onigiri and Sincerity (? at the sincerity part...since I missed something to bring that up as an episode title in the episode). It goes along with chapter six of the manga, chronicling a day of Hikari cooking (lol). Ah~! I even enjoyed some of the anime-original stuff in this episode (but there really wasn't much, just a couple of extra jokes to fill in the time and some shota-Kei).
So, let's get started then, shall we?
This week was good, but I expect next week to be better. The Takishima family is always amusing.

After finishing up my episode 28 review I began wondering how many people knew about the Utau spoiler which will very likely be revealed in the next episode of Shugo Chara! (they've only taken out one scene because of "intenseness" so I doubt they'll remove the spoiler entirely).
So, we're going to find out in the easiest way possible. We're just going to do a simple poll to find out who knows about the "Utau Spoiler." Basically, everyone knows about the Nadehiko spoiler now (I'm sure there's just a few fansub fans), but it was a pretty well-kept secret. Utau on the other hand, her spoiler was being written up on just about every forum with any sort of pairing discussion for Shugo Chara!
Let's just find out for curiosity's sake then, hm?
If you're unsure at all about whether or not we're thinking of the same thing, send me a message please and I'll let you know. Or post an anonymous comment (they aren't viewable by everyone until I unscreen them). I'd like to keep the comments here spoiler free since we're so close to some people actually finding out in the normal way.
Heh...my vote is for the first option. I'm wondering what everyone else will chose though.
Edit: Also, I know there's people that lurk around my journal who don't have an account on livejournal, and I just realized they can't vote in the poll. Feel free to just leave a quick comment with your choice.

The review is a lot later than usual (actually, once I didn't finish until Sunday, so it's not that bad). My brother is home and hogging the internet with his stupid gaming so I'm not allowed to do my torrents. It always sucked because it took me longer to get Shugo Chara! on the weekends when he's home, but now I also torrent Code Geass and Special A. Code Geass...shouldn't be too hard to find as a direct download, but I'll have to fight him to the death in order to get hold of Special A on time.
Haha~! I also went to the mall with my friend and bought myself some anime and manga~! So it's not all his fault.

The new guardians~!

So, this episode, as expected, pretty much just follows chapter 16 (which has been released by AngelicPowder now by the way). It also has that small snippet from chapter 17 that I was hoping it would have...and let me just say...I'm a freakin' anime psychic. Every time I guess about how an anime is going to adapt chapters from a manga, I'm almost always right. I...am...awesome.
But my arrogance aside, the part from chapter 17 will potentially cause some massive fights and panic...so read very closely what I write when we get to that part. Also, read my usual notes/thoughts at the bottom. It isn't as big of a deal as everyone is thinking. So please...(I know it seems weird me trying to calm people down this much when I say it isn't a big deal, but I've already heard people flipping out from when the rumors first surfaced about this a few months ago).
Well, that's pretty much it. Hopefully we keep that crisis averted and continue the way those of us who know the big reveal from this episode have been (discussing it briefly, then staying silent).
But right now, I'm looking forward to next week. We get our first real scene with all three of my favorite characters in it~! By "real" I mean this time everyone talks and everyone interacts. Woo~!

I'm on a little mini-vacation right now with my family. But I found an internet cafe (god, I thought these were super rare these days...outside the cities and stuff) so I decided to check my e-mail and check for any "OMFG! ANIME EPISODE LEAKED!" type of stories on ANN (The Code Geass one's resolution was so boring that I was almost letdown...it takes a lot to get me really worked up so I sort of like it when I get to really rant).
But moving on...
The Haruhi Light Novels are going to be released next year~! See?
I'm happy, but considering that we have to wait...pretty much exactly a year...I'll just go curl up with the final volume of the anime (just bought today). I've always wanted to read more light novels (especially the Haruhi ones) and I have no patience for reading anything that long on a screen.
I mean...I don't even read FictionPress stories that much anymore (that's saying a lot since I used to read them all the time when I could print a chapter out). Now I lack patience.
But oh well...I have something to look forward to...in a year. And considering that it's a year until the first volume "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" is released...I'm feeling sort of meh (even though I'm excited). Because I did read the translations for that, and the anime followed so closely that it's basically just like reading a novelization. Boring. But I'll still buy it for a rainy day when Kyon's sarcasm will cheer me up, of course.
Well, this is just one of those news snippets that makes me happy enough to spread my happiness somewhere so people who may care can get excited with me (I think I'm going to pretty much...stop telling my parents and friends since seeing their lack of enthusiasm bums me out).
Alright, now the only things left on my, "I super want this" list are a ShinKuro anime, a Skip Beat! drama (though I want that after the manga ends), Code Geass on DVD (I will not be watching a "Not Jun Fukuyama" Lelouch on Adult Swim), and...I guess an extension for the Shugo Chara! anime (and for either the scanlations or releases to hurry up~! Spoilers can only be so satisfying). There's probably more to the list, but that's it right now.
