Mahou Shojo Eru
Okay...this feels like a really silly and unnecessary thing to say, because anyone I've ever talked to that reads my journal knows better.

I will now say that after wikipedia, CrunchyRoll is the number one place you cannot cite as a place where you got information from. It's just random twelve to twenty-four year olds posting whatever spoiler they happened to run into wherever they possibly can.

I just spend ten minutes correcting someone about their Shugo Chara! spoilers...which even if they had been correct, should not have been posted on the main page for the anime of Shugo Chara! for people following the fansubs.

(There are spoilers beyond the cut)
They wrote that Amu's fourth egg is going to be an angel. That Ikuto and Tadase are brothers. And that Ikuto will be showing up asleep in Amu's bed in episode twenty-eight.

Uh...what?

The correct version of these spoilers are: Amu's fourth egg is a Diamond egg, completing her suit of cards and Utau's second shugo chara is an angel who happens to fall into Amu's posession. Ikuto and Tadase are cousins and childhood friends. Tadase used to call Ikuto "onii-tan" but they aren't siblings. And Ikuto is Amu's bed in chapters 27 and 28...not episode 28. In fact...it's actually a little doubtful that the scene will show up in the anime unless they add on more episodes.

*sigh* Why?

And also...the spoilers from chapter 28 are already being spread like crazy. That includes direct copy and paste of what I wrote in my episode 26 episode review. I'm just thankful to have learned that those spoilers all seem to be correct, because I really don't want to be responsible for incorrect spoilers going around. And at least it seemed to be hidden behind a spoiler tag as well.

But judging by comments made by people spreading these spoilers...I don't think they realize that they're spoilers from the manga. But then everyone seems to be thinking that this person is the one who supplied the spoilers in the first place so they're asking them for scans. Dude...even I don't have the scans yet. And one of the parts in the spoilers is, "GOD! I want to see that picture!" so heck no, there's no scans!

And then I saw someone posting another fake spoiler that Amu and Ikuto kissed! Gah! Did not happen!

Why are the kids on CrunchyRoll like this. Wouldn't it be nice to just go into thread and not see red spoiler tags everywhere...that are hiding false spoilers!!!

Ugh...I always hear other anime fans complaining about the young fans online...and I never thought I'd be one. But it's pretty bad that a bunch of them are using me as a source for spoilers...when I used a dozen other places as sources for spoilers (can't even remember them all).

And people are still spreading around the Utau spoiler like it's old news. The chapter has no scanlation, the episode hasn't even been released in Japan, so no...not old news. There are still plenty of people being spoiled. One poor little girl replied, "They're not brother and sister" to another girl (sadly who shares my age) saying that Utau and Ikuto can't be a couple because they're brother and sister...without a spoiler tag.

Really...I feel bad for all the kids getting spoiled. There's the ones spreading the spoilers around like crazy and the ones that get smacked over the head with one when all they want to do is talk about their love of Amuto~! Now...you may be asking, "How does the Utau spoiler come up in a discussion about Amuto?" Why it's simple.

Amuto fan: Kya! I really hope that Amu and Ikuto end up together.
SC Fan: But Utau is always doing so much for Ikuto. I think it's awful the way he ignores her!
Spoiler Asshole: But ew...they're brother and sister.
Fans: Uh...what? o_O

See...unfair. And this is actually based off of something I've seen happen...twice.

I don't know why I'm typing this up, I guess because the kids over at crunchyroll are linking to me now I figure I should give them a warning.

Because of all these spoilers going around and my own awful past with being spoiled (A long time ago I tried to follow the InuYasha manga as it was released in America...had to give up on that once I spent more than ten minutes on the internet), I'm going to keep my eye on the Shugo Chara! pages at CrunchyRoll. I understand that's where new anime fans go to get their anime fix (the poor things don't understand torrents at all) and most of them are like...twelve and I feel really bad for them.

Agh...now I kind of wish Shugo Chara! wasn't so popular, since it doesn't seem to be making scanlations, official releases, or fansubs go any faster. Even the fandom has hit the point where a lot of them are annoying.

This doesn't accomplish anything...but I just wanted to tell anyone directed to my journal from CR (since I've now seen someone giving my journal as a link) don't trust what most people say. And be aware that no matter where you go...you run the risk of seeing spoilers (both true and false ones).

I really hate Crunchy Roll...

Why can't we just have a site where we can just watch anime, and we don't have to post in the forum or update profiles to get priveleges? Plus, there are some real idiots there who pick fights for no apparent reason (my friends have had arguments over pictures they found on Google or Photobucket: "Did you steal that picture from my profile?!"... uh, no).

I especially hate spoilers there... I've seen a few posts like this. I think one spoiler I remember was around Episode 10, when someone posted "ah, now Amu has done character transformation with all her characters: or has she?! DUN DUN DUN!". I was just like... OK -_-. I didn't stick around to see if bloomed into a huge argument or not, but it's likely it did.

(Lol, I need to get an LJ account >_<)

Actually, I used to like posting in the forums. Like those big discussion threads, "What's your favorite ______?" threads. Those were fun, but then you start to notice the dumb threads. And then you notice that the people always posting the "smart things" in the dumb threads are always...the same five or ten people. And everyone on there is looking for a fight about something...

It always explodes into an argument...except when the thread moves too quickly for anyone to read the post. Because everyone on CR feels like arguing about everything...

I saw those posts! Yeah, crunchy roll is a haven for idiots (at least according to some of the forum posts I've seen). I don't mind the spoilers as much cause I'm one of those people who always reads the last page of a book first, but its not fair to people who like getting surprised. The people who post fake spoilers are the most annoying though. They should at least get their facts straight.

BTW did you see the liscence freakout page? Its tras annoying. So is the disliked characters one were Rima and Utau are picked every second time. Oh well the subs are decent. Usually...

I don't mind the spoilers either since I...spoil myself whenever possible about anime and manga (only certain series though), but it still bothers me. Especially the fake spoilers.

Oh god yes...the license threads. There's more than one of them (for just about every anime) and I always hate running into them. I think that when they all started popping up after Naruto was taken down was when I really started to hate CrunchyRoll, because after that, the idiocy was impossible to ignore.

I don't know why Rima would be posted...she hasn't even been in the anime for long and hasn't shown up in any fansubbed episodes. I just that just adds to the type of people posting that crap anyways.

I... gave up on Crunchy D:

The people there are so annoying. You know how GW is the place for SC? Well, within two days of me posting the Summary for 28, a bunch of people took them and are circulating around the internet ==; ( Scans are better; I imposed strict guidelines on how to get them xD)

Thank goodness we olny translated the important main ideas of the chapters, and The scans were PW-protected; otherwise all of them will circulate the internet at light speed @__@

Besides, I already sent out the scans to Jen, and once she finishes with them and posts in her blog, all hell would break loose with the sqeeling voices of the Weaboos saying "I WANT MORE IKUTOX AMU PLEASX" ==; OMFG.. LOLOLOL THEY HUGG AND ARE IN BED 8D;;;

*stabs*

.. ugg.. I am apparently in a ranting mode as well xD

Ugh, I hate that. Well, the people are only creating trouble for themselves because everyone is going to be asking them for the scans (unless they do it anonymously, then it's just annoying).

But Guardian's Wish...I should really start posting on the forums since it seems to be the only place that's not full of idiots.

If the scans weren't password protected they'd be up on YouTube by now. I've never understood why anyone would want to read scans on YouTube anyways. They're always blurry and just...impossible to read. Even if you're just looking at raws for the pictures it's still awful. I don't get it.

I can already see someone posting that exact quote actually. It's almost sad really. And people are going to be spreading around the spoilers like they were the ones who wrote them within a day. So annoying...

Feel free to rant here as much as you want, it keeps me from feeling like a bitch that likes to complain too much.

Actually, Kelena93, the user that posts the scans on Youtube and Veoh, actually has the scans to 28 8D;;. But she understands that she can't post it on YT and Veoh though, if she wants to see future chapters from me (Its just the fact that I had to place a password and a 100 post minimum requirement to filter out all the nooblets from getting it D: ( because Shiny is a creditor <3)

UGGG.

and these users on CR are pissing me off too.

For instance, they come across my profile, go to my pictures, and take them without credit. HANG ON.

They take it, then say that ALL CREDIT GOES TO THEM

and they take Hinano and Usagijen's scans too D:

... and they steal stuff from WIKI and claim that they translated it D:

I might possibly be more of a complainer than you xD

Silly nooblets D:

Well, it seems to be working well. I haven't seen any scans being spread crazily all over the internet yet. But I'm sure it will happen eventually. It always does. I found the Shugo Chara! scans on some Chinese website once...definitely the same scans by Lyrika. Don't Chinese websites always have their own pirated copies of stuff anyways? It really surprised me to see them there.

Don't all of your pictures have watermarks on them? How do the crazy little noobs try and take credit when it's like that? Though...actually I've seen that sort of thing happen before. Their crazy cropping and messed up half-assed editing.

It's stupid when they take those scans, because pretty much everyone knows where they came from anyways (losers).

Oh, I love it someone takes something from wikipedia, claim they translated it, and then they find out that it's wrong. Why do they have to act like they translated it anyways? I just don't get it.

*sigh* They really are silly. Ignoring common sense because they're on the internet...

Crunchyroll is ok. To me anyway, I like the forum, it allows me to create rpgs. :D However, I did meet some idiots online who keep arguing. It annoys me, but I never bother to read the argument. Its stupid and a waste of time. Maybe they have too much time?:P

Also, I seriously hate some people who go around spreading stupid rumours about Shugo chara. I once read on crunchyroll that Amu and Ikuto will make love with each other on chapter 28. I was like, WTF?! Hellos... how old are they? Just use de common sense!

As for people stealing pics. I feel that there are just some people who just dunno respect and courtesy. I admit that I do take people's pics, (like ShiningNinja's), but I only admire it on my own and never share it with other people. And I always properly credit people when i use others stuff. One should at least credit people when you want to use their stuff.

Mysterious Anonymous person *___* <333

I don't really care if people save my images and use them ( it actually gives me a warm, bubbly feeling that people actually like them xD) , its just... when they take it, edit it, and then say THEY made it that ticks me off D:
But hey, feel free to use <3

But if you think about it, the more SC continues, and the more revelations that PeachPit gives us, I think that there will be worse times in the fandom later on D:, like when Ikuto x Amu really kiss or something, or when Amu gets a super DBZ FUSION with her charas ( JK of course), then we will be in a world of trouble D:

Oi, CR. I signed up for it and hardly go on but when I do and see the comments on there, they're even worst than the ones on Youtube. Dx
Jeez, if they don't have solid back-up, then they should keep their mouths shut. It's so friggin' annoying reading those comments. This is the internet for cryin' out loud! Don't just believe everything you see! *sigh*

Ah, but you're being such a great person for keeping an eye on them. I'd actually do it, too, but I don't have the patience or energy (and I'm just lazy).
[info]fuyumaiden wrote:

They're much worse than the ones on YouTube. Because for one...you can't delete them. They're just going to float around until the comments get pushed down.

They should...but they don't. They just...go on and on. I guess because they want to feel important or something? It's really lame actually.

Laziness if a good excuse! But I feel like it's partly my fault for putting so many spoilers on my journal in the first place (even though I clearly said not to trust most of them). It's really the fault of whoever spreads the spoilers, but still, they should just calm down. I read spoilers, I *squee* and giggle to myself and...occasionally write my thoughts in the journal...but really. I don't find the need to tell everyone about it.

That sux. :(

*nods in agreement*

People should know that spoilers are not always 100% true anyways (and it's good that you restated that) but most of them are just plain dumb and like you said, want to feel important. If they're gonna talk about spoilers, then they should do it with a little more responsibility, something we're greatly lacking. -.-;

I think the main problem is that a lot of fans of Shugo Chara! are new to anime in general. I've checked out some users and everything they seem to like is from like...the last two years and that's it. Most of it has finished subbing this year too. So I guess they don't know how it works. And because so many people love spoilers so much, generally no one slaps them in the face and goes, "Put that in a spoiler tag moron!"

And when it comes to using wrong spoilers...none of them ever get corrected, because most people assume they're right. Ugh. Thinking of all this again reminds me to check up on the Shugo Chara! threads ar CR. Stupid little spoiler jerks...

That makes sense. When a series experiences a sudden sucessful boom like SC did (crap, now I'm bringing economical terms into this. xD;; I should develop a study on that, it'd be a lot of fun. lol), everything is just all over the place. @.@; But anime fans learn fast...a good handful of them anyways...so everything'll settle down eventually. Haha, look at the Code Geass for example. It's already had its second leak but not a lot of people freaked out about it like the first time around. Srsly, what is Sunrise trying to do? xD; *off-topic*

Yea! Go discipline them with an iron pipe!!! xDD;;

Yeah, after a few flames and stuff they tend to calm down. I remember my noob period...luckily I don't think I was so annoying. I was the poor little twelve-year-old who got spoiled instead of being the jerk spreading around the spoilers. It's really the ones that get knocked over the head with spoilers that turn into normal fans quicker. They tend to develop an intolerance for stupidity because stupidity has already effected them.

It's the ones that go looking for spoilers from the very beginning you have to look out for, because they're going to be the ones spreading them around once they find them...sill.

Oh god...the second Code Geass leak. When I found out about it I was just like, "Again?" But it wasn't as big of a deal this time. I didn't even bother looking at the images.

Ooo...iron pipe. But actually, my weapon of choice is a baseball bat that my brother gave me. Heh...because to them it looks like I'm just innocently walking to go play baseball until they get a bonk on the head (why the heck am I talking about this anyways...lol).

My noob period was pretty much the same as yours...also, I really had no one to share spoilers with (I didn't even know what spoilers were back then, actually :P) since most of my friends aren't into anime and I've had bad experiences with forums in general so I tried to keep away from them. I really wasn't into the idea of commenting either until recently. :/
And I agree about the intolerance part. I completely agree. *nodnod*

Ah, but yea, those are the ones that are that bad. They're like insects, they are. *sprays them with pesticide*

I did~! xD;

Haha, I would actually prefer one of those large tsukkomi fans. It looks so funny when the "boke" partner gets slapped with it. xD;

Well, the anime community is a difficult place. I'm still not that much into forums. I just liked CR because I could state my opinion in an incredibly large thread. I could answer the question, feel fulfilled and not have to worry too much about someone coming in to be an asshole to me...because the thread moves to quickly that it doesn't matter. It's basically the same reason why I prefer writing a journal to forums. Most people who comment, comment because they want to agree or talk about something relevant. And if anyone ever says something stupid, I get to just delete it (hasn't really happened yet though).

No need for pesticide! If they're insects, you can send Utau after them. Just tell her that they're all Ikuto fangirls (because sadly, they are...disgraces to the rest of us).

Oh god I want one of those fans so badly. I've wanted one since the first time I watched anime. I saw someone hitting someone else with a gigantic fan that made an awesome "THWAP" sound and I've wanted one ever since. Never bothered to actually go looking for one though...

Well, I read your posts because the spoilers XD but I know it and I WANT them, because I can't read manga( does anybody know when will come out the5th and the 6th volume/and when will someone put it up to the net...?because here I can't buy them :(/??).
But yeah, that's really annoying when you just want to read about something, and you find a spoiler, which is not correct, and... bleh, I really hate it :D And I was wondering about why they do that...is it good for them? :S
Hmm.and...if they will do about 56 episodes, that scene won't be in the anime or that scene ( abut Ikuto and Amu^^) needs more episodes? :D

The scanlation group is still on volume four and that's the next volume that will be released officially. But most of us have been getting our spoilers from two blogs.
Ex-Fansubber Hitorigoto
Scrumptious Anime Blog
You can find tons of trustworthy spoilers in the Shugo Chara! categories. So if you didn't already know of those two places, they're really the best places to go for spoilers.

Well, it's really just my opinion that it probably won't get animated unless they extend the series. Last season animated exactly three volumes of the manga. I sort of expect the same from this season...and the Amuto scenes show up in volume seven...so that's why I don't think it will be animated unless they add on more episodes.

Shugo Chara!
Crunchyroll does have a lot of annoying false spoilers. I tend to stay away from reading there comments, I just go there to watch the anime, sense it is basically the only current place that has the episodes posted. [ Im not fluent in Japanese, though I know somewhat of the language, I'm still not good enough to watch them Raw. ] And i feel your pain with the Inuyasha Spoilers, Except my problem was for the anime.

Yeah, but sometimes the episodes are late. It's still the most organized, easiest, and safest place to watch streaming anime though. Other sites are either unorganized or have tons of pop-ups.

Actually, the InuYasha anime got spoiled for me too...stupid jerks.
